Teflon PEEK

Description

There are two available types of Teflon: PEEK, PTFE and both of them are thermoplastics. However, PEEK and PTFE are 13 material properties with different values for both of them.

PEEK material (polyetheretherketone) is a high-performance semi-crystalline engineering thermoplastic with outstanding harsh chemical resistance.

PEEK roundbar has many properties including:

 

• • The glass transition temperature of around 143 °C

 

• • Robustness

 

• • Ability to stay dimensionally stable under harsh environments makes it a highly sought after polymer

 

• • At 343 °C is the melting point of PEEK

 

• • The density of PEEK is 1.32 g/cm³

 

• • High vacuuming applications
